There are quite a few currencies on Samoth : every race, population, even sometimes family has its own monetary system. However, there are six main currencies - one per continent :

• The as in Tolnoff
• The shell in Untl'Gaw
• The shield in Yzgull
• The coco in Dornash
• The liard in Al Birzuun
• The pound in Jilkan

Evidently, these six currencies are only useable in their respective countries: try and pay in asses in Yzgull will probably be difficult, if not impossible. The exception is the pound, which due to its composition - those are gold coins - are assigned a constant value throughout the Disque: thus it's used as the standard currency - the "Yzgull Express" card having not meet its public.
